- Conditions
- Warm desert air from the east converges with cool onshore Pacific air creating powerful, organized thermal conditions. Look for northeast winds that transition as the onshore breeze comes in midday. Results in dramatic altitude gains and long XC potential.
- Ushpa
- P3 minimum strongly recommended. P4 for reliable safety in the convective conditions. Get a site introduction from a local pilot before flying.
- Intl tip
- Lake Elsinore is also a well-known skydiving destination (Skydive Elsinore). Both communities use the same general airspace in a well-choreographed coexistence.
