1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or purchasing from Outbound California ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or purchase our products.
These terms govern your use of outboundcalifornia.com and all associated subdomains.
2. Products and Services
Outbound California sells digital guidebook content covering outdoor recreation across California. Products include:
- Single-region digital guidebook access (PDF and/or web)
- All-Access subscription covering all 10 California regions

All paid products are digital and delivered electronically upon purchase confirmation.
3. Payment and Billing
All payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Your card or payment statement will show a charge from Paddle.com or Paddle.net — this is correct and expected.
Prices are listed in USD. Paddle handles currency conversion and applicable local taxes automatically at checkout.
For subscription products, you will be billed on a recurring basis as disclosed at checkout. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by contacting us at dave@outboundcalifornia.com.
4. Digital Product Delivery
Upon successful payment, you will receive access to your purchased content immediately via email confirmation and/or your account dashboard. We do not ship physical goods.
If you do not receive access within 30 minutes of purchase, please contact us at dave@outboundcalifornia.com with your order details.
5. Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase at dave@outboundcalifornia.com and we will process a full refund.
Please see our full Refund Policy for details.
6. Accuracy of Information
Outbound California guidebook content is researched and updated regularly, but outdoor conditions — trails, permits, road access, regulations — change frequently. Always verify current conditions, permit requirements, and access information with the relevant land management agency before your trip.
We are not responsible for decisions made based on guidebook information, including but not limited to injuries, property damage, permit denial, or trip disruption.
