- Intl tip
- Lake Tahoe sits on the California/Nevada border, so the Flume Trail technically crosses into Nevada (the scenery doesn't change). South Lake Tahoe has the most lodging and services. A summer week that combines mountain biking, kayaking on the lake, and an evening in Stateline is one of California's classic outdoor vacation formats.
