Intl tip
A small, personable Cessna dropzone in the heart of Sonoma wine country at Cloverdale (off Hwy 101) — an intimate alternative to the big turbine centers, where the owner is an AFF instructor and most local jumpers learned to fly. Jumping from ~two miles up, you fall toward the Russian River through the Alexander Valley, with views of the wine country, Napa, SF Bay, and Point Reyes. Smaller Cessna operation: funloads can be limited and altitude is lower, so call ahead. Reserve ahead, confirm weight limits, expect occasional weather holds.
