Intl tip
A quintessential Bay Area day ride — a rolling 40–50-mile loop through the green dairy country of West Marin, past Nicasio Reservoir and out to the seashore towns of Point Reyes, on quiet country roads with a wonderful away-from-it-all feel. It rolls with a few honest hills (the Marshall Wall), so it's moderately challenging, not a beginner route. The coast is often foggy and windy (carry layers); the Point Reyes Station bakeries are a legendary stop. Watch for traffic on through-roads. Brilliant green in spring.
